Celebrating Our Travelife Certified Award at ITB Berlin

We are proud to share an important milestone for our team. On the 4th of March, we had the honour of attending the Travelife Awards Ceremony during ITB Berlin, one of the world’s leading travel trade shows held annually in Berlin.

During the ceremony, Michela Mifsud represented our team on stage to receive the Travelife Certified award on behalf of 20Twenty DMC and Very Valletta by Mifsud Brothers Ltd.. This recognition marks a significant achievement for our organisation and reflects the ongoing work we are doing to operate more responsibly within the tourism industry.

A Commitment to Responsible Tourism

Sustainability has become an essential pillar of modern tourism, particularly for destinations such as Malta, where preserving cultural heritage, supporting local communities, and protecting the environment are key to maintaining the destination’s long-term appeal.

Achieving the Travelife Certified status demonstrates our continued commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable tourism management. It reflects the systems, policies, and actions we have implemented across our operations to ensure that our work contributes positively to the destination we proudly represent and promote.

Recognising the Team Behind the Achievement

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our sustainability team. Their commitment, attention to detail, and determination were instrumental in helping us reach this important milestone.

Their efforts reflect the values we aim to uphold as a company and the responsibility we feel toward the tourism industry and the communities we work with.

Looking Ahead

Receiving the Travelife Certified award is a proud moment for our entire team. However, it is also a reminder that sustainability is an ongoing journey rather than a final destination.

We remain committed to continuously improving our practices and supporting a more responsible and sustainable future for tourism in Malta.
